Bayon Bistro
About This Spot
Stepping into Bayon Bistro feels like finding a quiet, welcoming refuge where familiar warmth blends with the inviting hum of a neighborhood gathering spot. Nestled in the heart of Winghaven, this Cambodian restaurant offers a thoughtful pace—relaxed but purposeful—where each visit invites you to linger a little longer. The atmosphere mingles casual comfort with subtle touches of culture, making it an easy place to settle into whether you’re catching up with friends or savoring a moment alone.
The kitchen’s approach embraces freshness and authenticity, evident in the gentle balance of flavors that unfold with every bite. The menu, with its delicate nods to Cambodia and hints of neighboring Southeast Asian influences, is an exploration rather than a checklist—where richly spiced curries share the table with light, lively sushi rolls and vibrant salads. This variety doesn't feel overwhelming but instead encourages you to discover what resonates most with your mood or company.
Service here carries a genuine attentiveness, the kind that helps the experience feel personal without being intrusive. You’ll notice a pride in preparation and presentation that speaks to a deep connection with the food’s origins. It’s that same care that turns a simple dish of lemongrass chicken or a bowl of broth-based noodle soup into something quietly memorable, inviting you back to taste more.
Bayon Bistro gently expands the local dining landscape, offering a refreshing reprieve from more common options. It’s a place where fresh ingredients take center stage and every plate feels like part of a story—crafted from tradition, served with warmth, and enjoyed in good company.

This is a brand new restaurant in Winghaven. We will be coming back. The General Chicken was spicy and delicious. The Pepper Steak was very tasty. Very nice sushi selections. I enjoyed a spicy tuna hand roll and some tuna nigiri. The sushi presentation was fun and attractive. Excellent job!

So good. The food is amazing and the portions are exactly right. My wife had the fried Cambodian fish and I had the noodle soup. The flavors were spot on and the meat was juicy and tender in the soup. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant, you need to come try!

There were some glitches to our order in the beginning of our dining experience, but the staff quickly fixed their error. The food was delicious. It's nice to see some more food variety come to this area, and we will definitely be back to sample more of the menu.

The restaurant has a large selection of Asian food, including Cambodian dishes. The owners are from Cambodia, and they truly know how to make good food. I have been to Cambodia, and the food there is excellent—the same goes for this restaurant. In Cambodia, they never keep food for the next day. Whatever is left goes to the animals, so they always prepare fresh food for the next day. It’s a lot of work, but people really enjoy fresh meals. The same is true at this restaurant. The food is very fresh, and the service is excellent. I also enjoyed the restaurant’s décor; there are many beautiful pictures from Cambodia. The prices are reasonable, and they also have vegetarian options.

This place is a gem. Delicious and good service. The food has touches of Thai and Vietnamese, if you're familiar with those cuisines. I've only been twice now. Had the Lemongrass Chicken and the Red Curry. Both dishes were amazing. Will most certainly be back. Often.

???????? Lovely surprise for this area. Authentic, big dishes, beautiful flavor profiles. While we had dinner at least 3 customers raved about the menu. One said he loves everything he’s ever eaten there. ????????

What an interesting concept blending Cambodian cuisine with a touch of Japanese flair! It's very rare to find Cambodian cuisine and stumbling upon it in this part of the metro was a surprise to me! I came in for Happy Hour with a party of 4 and we were served right away and very quickly. Atmosphere is calm with low light. The food here is phenomenal with generous food portions! Highly recommend the Cha Kuy Teav (Char Kuay Teow) noodles with an aromatic tamarind and fish sauce kick. The highlight were the Cambodian Street Wings. Super crispy skin with tender and juicy meat that pairs exceptionally well with the lime and palm sugar sauce. So good that I, in fact, ate the bony wing part. Super addicting flavor. I will be coming back for more. Delicious.
